About the Cross Wreath Board

The UITC™ Cross Wreath Board is one of our nine wreath boards that you can use as the base to create a stunning wreath, every time with just about any materials available! Seriously, DIY wreath making has never been this easy!

This board is 20″ x 13″ x 3/16″ and creates a finished wreath approximately 24″ x 16″. However, your finished creation can be much bigger depending on the materials you use.

Wreaths made on our Cross Board are perfect for outdoor use, such as displayed at a graveyards, memorial sites, or in a garden. Why? This board is made a little thicker than our other wreath boards, which adds extra weight and durability for outdoor display. The board itself is 100% weatherproof and can withstand all manner of conditions! Your wreath will be well-backed with this sturdy board!

The Cross Wreath Board is constructed entirely out of 100% recycled plastic. It’s even 100% recyclable but it should last forever as it is virtually indestructible.

How to Make a Wreath on the Cross Board

Once you've got your Cross Board ready to go, the next thing you're going to need are zip ties, or cable ties. This is how you'll attach your materials to the board to create your fabulous cross design. You can use any material at all just as long as you can zip a cable tie around it. This helps you to use far fewer materials so that the wreath making process is much more cost effective and environmentally friendly. (No need to wrap materials around the board anymore, thank goodness!)

Speaking of materials, you're going to need those too! Decomesh and ribbon are both very popular materials used for creating and decorating wreaths on our wreath boards, Cross Board included! Our online store sells many varieties of decomesh and ribbon, as well as many other materials and accessories you'll want to browse through before you create your cross wreath.

Florals and greenery are also popular choices for a cross wreath, especially for wreaths created as a tribute to a lost loved one. You can find all sorts of these supplies at your local craft or dollar store!

Displaying Your Cross Wreath Outdoors

Wreaths made on the Cross Board are ideal for displaying outside. This is due to the board's durability and sturdiness, but also because the spiritual nature of the wreaths created on the board make them appropriate for use in outdoor religious ceremonies, graveyards, and memorial sites.

For instance, Janice Hilaski-Roberts created the wreath on the right with our Cross Board for a lovely tribute to a loved one displayed at a cemetery. What an absolutely beautiful tribute!
